QL17 battery - What am I doing wrong ?

Hi there,

I'm trying to use a 675 battery with my canonet ql17. I have the proper 'o' ring and wrap it around the battery and insert it in the compartment. No go. I stuff some foil as well, I'm able to make contact but when I close, I lose the contact ...

This is suppose to be very easy and somehow, I'm not able to do it. This is getting on my nerve ... Help !! Could someone explain ... ?

ha. New style VS old style ... So maybe I'll need to get a flat washer ... Home depot, here I come ! 🙂
