QL17 Glll lens question

I bought a very mint Glll on ebay, opting for the Buy It Now option. It's just like new, and thought the price was maybe worth it. All I need to know is, do the lens barrels get slightly loose, that is with a very slight wiggle, and does this effect the image quality? I asked the seller, and he said this was characteristic of many of these cameras. Thanks, Russell Smith.

Mine is very slightly loose. It does not seem to affect photo quality. If I send it in for CLA I will ask about it, but it doesn't seem to be getting worse.

I have had the lens partly apart, down to the shutter, but I could not see anything obviously loose.

It's a very good camera. You will like it. 🙂
