QL25 goes to The Bronx...

to the Botanical Garden. I took the QL25 'cause it hasn't seen much time off the shelf. It was loaded with Arista II 400 B&W, souped in Rodinal at 1:50 for 11 minutes. I'm pretty pleased with the results. The day was bright and contrasty. These are typical exposures.

The rest of the roll was 'bout the same....pretty boring stuff, though. It's hard to post bigger stuff, given the limitations for posting on this site (maybe I just don't understand the work-around). Originals were 1.3 to 2.4, were resized down to the 300 required by the site. I don't usually save any but the best ones, and even trash the negatives. I'm going to try souping for a bit longer time next batch....stay tuned...

isnt part of the whole point of photography having those negatives that dont decay or get lost, much like a digital file is lost if your comp crashes?

Yeah...I suppose that original image retention is important...but not for MOST of my images. I do save negatives that I think are important, as I save digital files that are important by duplicating them. I blitz most of my digital images, too. Culling the collection means less bloated storage in both instances.
