Quality of pack film versus new Polaroid and Instax

I've still got some Fujifilm FP-3000 pack film, which I'm slowly using. But soon it will be gone.

I wondered if anyone who has gone from this format over to Impossible/Polaroid, or Instax instant films, has any opinions on the quality differences between them all?

I'm interested in personal opinions and usage experience; as well as links to any data on this. E.G. dynamic range and so on.

I would suppose it would depend on your definition of "quality".

I never warmed to pack film. I have had much more success from integral. Since its inception, Impossible (or Polaroid Originals film as its now known) has come on in leaps and bounds. They offer (sporadically) a far more varied range of emulsions than Fuji (well, that's obvious, as Fuji now offer none).

The latest generation of PO films is a massive leap forward in terms of colour and (and I hate to throw this word about, as it isn't and should never be a barometer for quality) "sharpness".

The downside though, is that its still expensive. The upside is that you can shoot integral with pack film cameras, if you can pick up the rare as hens teeth CB-70 series back.

I still have some packs of FP3000 and quite many FP100, and I was comparing my pictures to Impossible (that my friends had), it was still quite a difference (to FP favor, especially BW). But maybe now Polaroid Originals are different (at least what I see on internet confirms this). Instax is ok'ish, except it is too small... And the choice of cameras for instax is limited - you cannot have it with full manual control.

Don't know about BW, but neither Polaroid Originals or Instax come even remotely close to FP-100C quality.
