Quest for a portable MF camera.

How about one of these?

I bought it for £20 and the picture quality is just fantastic.
Here are some samples:

Thanks P.Giannakis I was so inspired I have just bought one from ebay

hopefully it'll be a good one !!

I really like the look the Nettar lens gives. The middle shot of your three did it for me, the tone, the contrast, the sharpness... can't wait to try mine out !!

I'd love to see some photos of it. What lens (or lenses) do you use it with? And what format (6x7 or 6x9)?

Chris,
As requested, I've attached a shot taken with it. This was TMax 400 in D76, perhaps a 10 second exposure. I did not manage to keep the camera entirely still throughout, which you can see in the movement of the moon.

The camera is kind of a tough mistress, does not suffer my mistakes in loading, winding, cocking shutter etc. However it is a portable, sturdy wide angle 6x9 camera with changeable backs. I can even compose with ground glass if I want to take the time.

The only "downside" is that the lens is clinically sharp, stark even. My brother has a Rolleiflex, and I do find it's rendering very pleasing. I do, on balance prefer this camera though.

Very nice, and a good photo too. I like the contrast between the sharpness and the motion blur. You'll have a lot of fun with this. I had a Fotoman 45PS once, and eventually graduated to a field camera with movements. I like the Hasselblad SWC for its versatility, and the similarities (when used with a ground glass) to the view-camera mode of photo-making.
