Hello everybody , I just received a really nice m6 in the mail that I purchased, and I noticed one of the protector pads (where the strap rubs against) is loose. I plan on putting some gaffers tape over it for now, but I am curious to know how easy they are to replace (fix).

I don't plan on sending the camera back to the seller over this issue. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.,,.
I am wondering if I ordered an extra pad could I snap it in or would a small drop of loctite work?

As of now, I'm thinking gaffers tape might do the job .
Cheers, michael

I just found out that the strap pad (bumper) is held in place by a small brass post, so I would have to probably get a new one and then remove the cover to do it properly....as of now, I think gaffers tape will have to do.....

cheers, michael

The body must have the protectors. Mine fell off and i had light leaks.
Gaffer tape is good. There may be a piece loose inside..may cause a jam.
So far mine hasn't.

Oh man, I haven't even thought of that 🙁 but I am glad that you mentioned it.....I think I will order a protector and have my local tech install it....

cheers, michael
