I have shot a few rolls of Velvia iso 50 RVP, and I was about half daytime shots, half night-time.
I noticed some people getting really nice deep blacks out of this film, for example:

so, my question is whether or not this is achieved simply through short exposure times, less than 1/60 oe 1/125 and correct lighting?
Here is a photo where I think I exposed 1/15 and even though this is cross-processed, I thought the blacks would be...blacker. hehe.
