I have a 35mm adapter for the M2 to use the Jupiter-12 35mm lens on it. I recently bought a 50mm f1.4 Canon LTM for it. Do I have to have a 50mm adapter to use this lens on it? TIA. Appreciate any help.

The "size" of the adapter- 35-135, etc.- ONLY refers to what frame lines it will bring up. ANY of the adapters will work with any of the lenses. You may have to use your finger to move the lever and bring uop the correct frame line; inconvenient, but cheaper than buying 3 adapters...

You have the wrong adopter if you swap it for a 50mm then you can use it for 35mm by using an elastic band from around the lever to the strap lug, select for length.

Alternatively cut of a layer from a pencil eraser and trim it untilo it will just wedge under the lever, carry a spare as well.

get an adapter, it will save you a lot of heartache when you are shooting, its best to have one for each lens just because it is a pain to take off the lens, unscrew the adapter, move it over then attach it again, but then again it is cheaper that way....

Thanks everyone.

I'm happy to see that the adapter I have would suffice, however, I think it makes reasonable sense to have more adapters to obviate the need for taking them off and putting them back on. I will contact Stephen at CQ soon for one of the 50's. It's good too because I've been wanting a 75 CV and I can get both items at once. Thanks again. 🙂
