Question about Mamiya-6 folder V vs. K models

I'll try to remember to look at mine. I seem to remember that one of mine has none, one has a pc connector on the back side of the lens, and the other I don't recall for sure, but I think it is also a pc connector. But I suspect even though they are pc connectors, they would be M sync.

That would be great. Most of the ones I'm seeing on the bay of pigs are Seikosha Rapid shutters. My Google-fu is typically 3rd dan but I just can't get an answer on this from anywhere. Am I the only person who uses flash with MF? I'm beginning to wonder!

I checked all three of mine. One has a funky connector that I don't ever remember seeing before. Very small. One doesn't have any connector, and one has a normal pc connector. The shutter doesn't work correctly but it does work well enough to set off a Vivitar 285. Hope that helps.

You can clearly see a spring above the lens on photos 1, 2, and 4, that are part of the flash trip mechanism. I will try to remember to check the one flash-functioning Mamiya Six I have to see if it is M or X synch. Some models, if you check current ebay listings, show shutters with a switch on the lens rim both M and X flash.

As I lost the bid on a Certo 6 just yesterday I'm thinking of getting a Mamiya 6, anybody have experience with 6_x_6_by_sakurado? Also, which model would you reccommend and do they come in many lens variations like the western folders do?

I have used 6_x_6_by_sakurado from Japan many times and he is a wonderful dealer to buy from. He communicates very well and packs his items better then anyone I have dealt with here in the USA. Don't hesitate to buy from him on eBay or directly through his website. He will take care of you. He will go out of his way to find you something if he doesn't have it and will combine items to save you on shipping. He is holding 2 cameras for me now until he finds a few more I am looking for so I can save on shipping.
