Question about Plain Prism Nikon F

My F is an early one (1961-62) with plain prism. I resurrected it from the state that it was in when given to me, it'd been sitting in a basement, in a box, with the lens off for years. Have a 55 Micro on it, and a 28/2 pre-AI for it. It's a lovely old thing, and it works perfectly.

Problem solved! After a brief trip to the shop, the prism is actually cammed into place and often when someone tries to remove it without fully releasing the latch it will misalign the cam and that is where the gapping came from. Thanks to everyone for your help. Here's the result after adjustment:
