I've got a Fuji XT-10, and I am using the electronic shutter just because (also, I like the idea of have a shutter with a top speed of 1/30,000 of a second, or somewhere in that range.) Now, the mechanical shutters of most digital cameras are rated at around 150,000 actuations before they fail. Some go far beyond that, I have read. But is there any limit on the actuations of an electronic shutter? If there are no moving parts, other than the sound effect of my camera, what is there to wear out?
