Happy new year!
Now days I'm interested in vintage zeiss lenses. So I'd like to know How many Zeiss lenses were producted. Especially Biogon 21mm F4.5 and Sonnar 50mm F1.5, Collapsible Sonnar 5cm F2, Biogon 35mm F2.8.
Thanks in advance

According to John Keesing's book Contax Rangefinder Lenses, 1932-1962
21/4.5, about 8,000
35/2.8 Biogon made by CZ and ZO after WW2, about 9,800
Keesing does not state how many collapsible 50/2 or 50/1.5 lenses were made. The number is probably much larger than above lenses, given that the 50/2 and 50/1.5 lenses were made both before and immediately after WW2 by CZJ, and the 50/1.5 was made after WW2 by both CZJ and CZ/ZO.
Also, it is not clear how many 35/2.8 Biogons were made before and after WW2 by CZJ.

Thank you dexdog, I'm using ZO Sonnar 50/1.5 these days.
I think it's really nice lens. sharp indeed and I love its warm tone color!
Thanks again : )
