Hi, i checked the manual and on the Web but could not find the minimum focus distance of the 150 f5.6 lens of the mamiya super23.
Any idea? I am thinking of using this for studio work, in a head and shoulders portrait shot. I have the 100mm and it goes down to 1m, is this suitable enough?
Thanks

According to the Mamiya press standard manual the lens focusses down to 7ft or 2.1 meters. The 150mm has less distortion other than that the 100mm should work quiet well.

The rear bellows on the Super 23 can decrease the minimum focus distance by a little bit. Focusing gets a bit twitchy but it can come in handy.

Extension tubes are also available to allow the lens to focus more closely. However, you will need to focus with the ground glass.
