question re. bridge grip

the photo-equip version for the FM3A is about the same, around $130 or so. and it needs a bit of modding to fit the R-D1, iirc.
 
i find a grip helps me hold onto the camera better when i am just walking around. at 58 my hands are stiffening up more and more.
