Questions about my 120 camera

Hallo, first I do not know if I should post here, since the question is more about film development, but the camera in question is also important.

I my 120 camera is a pouva start. Got no light meter and no shutter speed that I can change. Until know any roll I use, I develop for the speed box. FP4+, I develop for iso 125 and so on, etc.

My question is, since the camera as so limited option for pictures: single speed, sun or clouds as aperture controls, can I shoot normally any roll, but when developing can I pull and push even I did not control it for that result? Or with this type of camera, should only shoot and develop the box speed?

Develop for the box speed. First, your exposure will be inconsistent and you not know if you need to push or pull nor by how much. Second and more importantly, it is easy in a scanner or enlarger to control contrast, which is what changes in development do.

Most likely the camera was designed for a specific film speed & lighting condition (outdoors in full sun)...if you can find this info you might be able to get more consistently better exposures...
Knowing it's shutter speed and lens aperture will also help...

Sorry for the missunderstandin, I know the speed and aperture of the camera. Before I began to use it I search for information about it. Has the camerapedia says : "two apertures, modes time and instant (1/30 sec.), screw tube and simple lens (Duplar 1:8, 2 elements in 2 groups). "
Has for the camera being designed for a specific film speed & lighting condition (outdoors in full sun), didn't cross my mind. Allways thought of a newbies camera, just point and clic and take photos.
Box speed will be, as I normally do!

I have an Ansco Pioneer which is somewhat similar to your camera and it's set up for 1/50 sec @ f14...if I choose to use it I would look for lighting condition that favor this set-up...
It takes 620 film...there's an old exposed roll still in it...

Ehehehe. My 620 camera is one old kodak of my grandfather.
Yes, normally I shoot in daylight, sunny days. My only slide 120 film, agfa rsx II iso 100, was with the pouva start abd I liked the results!
