Well, um, the first rule is RTFM but few people bother with manuals these days. Look how many are offered/sold without them as though the camera had been stolen from someone's shoulder...
And, of course, not RTFM-ing might just be why so many messed up cameras are sold these days and the factory gets the blame!
The Z could stand for "zwiebel" perhaps.
And finally, now you are on that slippery slope that starts with a FED, Leica or Zorki you'll need more than £200 so I'll wish you luck.

You live & learn, so they say! I'm not a Leica expert (clearly!).But the IIIa does have it. You can't shortcut high to low.
