Just a quick "this place is amazing" note, I'd heard good things in the past but actually went by today and talked with Steve. I'd emailed them about 2 issues:
pre-asph Summilux 50mm that I put a filter on, it got stuck and when I tried to get the filter off the whole front element came lose, and would no longer focus.
M7 needing shutter curtain replacement and rangefinder adjustment.
In the email one of Steve's staff had quoted me $130-$180 for the lens depending, $420 for parts and labor for the M7. 2 week turn around. I went by today and Steve fixed the lens on the spot, in 10 minutes free of charge and said he could replace the curtain and give the M7 a complete CLA for $425 and it would be ready in 1 week.
So fantastic. I was dreading a potential year wait with DAG, and having something like this local to me is amazing.
