just wondering which you use more often on your rd1, the 15 or the 21?

No experience with rd-1 but for non fullframe digital, 15mm makes more sense to me (as a wideangle).

With film, I use 21mm and 35mm, but when I had an R-D1, it was 15 paired with 28.
Depends how wide you like things, really.

The 15 - not so much vignetting, and really a snapshot lens because you dont have to take care for focussing.

Single lens setup? 21/f4. If however you already have a 28, 35 or 50? Then go with the 15/f4.5

i was just curious what other rd1 users were going with.
in my full frame film past, 35mm was my favourite focal length but i rarely use the equivalent 21 (32) on the rd1, much preferring the 15.
a kit with 15/28/50 would be fine for me, i'm thinking.

... likes film again.
When I had my R-D1s, it was 15mm (CV) and 25mm (Biogon), both excellent lenses.

Take my 15mm Heliar, because i owned no 21mm lens.
But with 24x36mm it would be more fun :-(

I use the 15mm exclusively for my photography needs, very happy with it, as far as I can tell, it is the best lense for street photography.

Nice shot! How did you frame it -- internal VF, external VF, dead reckoning?

15mm though still a bit too wide for me, therefore would like to have a 20mm, any suggestion?

When I last had an RD-1 I used 15 and 35 99% of the time. Now that I've picked up another, (YAY) our host was nice enough to send me one of each in exchange for my credit card number. This thursday will be my first chanc to use the new to me stuff and I can't wait.
