hi folks,
I just received my 4th FSU camera today. It's a Fed 3B w/I-61 50mm.
It's in great shape, so I don't want to mess it up before have a chance to shoot a roll of film through it
.
As it is now, when I cock the shutter, the shutter speed appears to be set to 1/30. I think that's the flash sync speed setting, right?
If I want to use a "regular" speed, which direction should I turn the shutter speed dial? I don't want to force anything.
Thanks!
Warren

Just tried mine, from the 1/30th position , it would only turn counter clockwise.........

What DaveP said.
edit: Almost forgot. 1/30 is the flash sync speed setting.

Counterclockwise to leave the 1/30 position, clockwise to return to the 1/30 position. You can go either way in changing any other shutter speed positions.

I think from 1 second you have to go clockwise. Well, that's what I do on my 3a.

For Fed 3b you can't go any furthor from 1 sec position counter clockwise, and also from 1/30 you can't get to 1 sec clockwise. You can, of course, go any directions at other positions.
