Quick trip to London and Paris, photo suggestions

Have a quick trip with 4 days in London and about 24 hours in Paris coming up and was looking for some suggestions of places to photograph.

More interested in street and quirky or unique architecture than standard touristy stuff. I've been to both places and have checked off the tourist boxes.

It's really my wifes work trip so I'll have time to wander alone and shoot and explore.

Any suggestions of neighborhoods or places appreciated.

London's a big place these days. Places I think are in Surrey seem to be London...

Anyway, how about a day wandering about in the City and south of the Thames and then Kew Gardens and the less popular attractions like the Wallace Collection, Sir John Soane's and Dr Johnson's Houses and so on?
