I want to possibly buy from Blyatnikov off ebay, since they have an item I want and the price seems ok.

Who here has dealt with them, and how did you pay for the item? Did it arrive as described within a fair timeframe etc?

I bought a NOS(new old stock) FED5 from him and was/am happy with the transaction and camera. It was delivered relatively quickly(promptly, but still too slow for my desire😀 ) in about 12 or 13 days after I'd paid.
I can't recall how I paid him--either paypal or I sent a money order to his US "address"(Western Bid) but it wasn't any more hassle than paying for my other FSU purchases.
I'd be happy to do business with him again.

I seem to recall similar enquiries on a couple of occasions on the FSU Forum.I am pretty certain that there were not any adverse comments,but you could try looking back through the Posts.

I didn't have much luck searching through the forum using the search function. I may bite the bullet and buy from the guy anyway.

Thing is my bank account is at its limit, so I guess if someone tried to use my details for fraud they'd get a big fat HAHAHAHA from the bank.

HI Ash,

I bought a FED 2 from him in Decemeber without any problems. The camera arrived promptly and appropriately packaged for the long journey. My only complaint, the interior of the lens is filthy, an easy fix. Good luck.
