What is considered a fair/reasonable price for a box of Quick-load 4X5 Velvia 20 exp?

Also- this film while yield a neg correct? Not a slide. I don't see chrome anywhere in the name.

Thanks...

While it was still here in the shops, it was around 75€ - once it got scarce and was only available per mail order from Fujilab UK, the price rose to little less than a hundred. The current price from Japan is only slightly above that, and you may be able to find it for less if you do not insist on vetted sources that speak English/German and do state the expiration date - but no matter where you'll buy in Japan you'll have to add whatever customs and shipping apply to your place.

To the US, you'll also have to factor in the artificially bad exchange rate you have relative to just about every other currency...

And no, Velvia is Slide - IIRC Fuji dropped "chrome" and "color" as part of their film names back when they renamed the corporation to Fujifilm. Japanexposures still has 160NC - that may be the last CN film packaged in Quickloads.

Velvia is a chrome, not a negative. If you want a negative, one or two places may still have some Fuji 160S, seen some at about $65-70/box. There still seems to be some Provia around, from dealers. I think the Velvia is gone from stores, available from resellers/private parties. I think it's going for $75 and up- check the auction site.

Quickloads are no longer imported by FujiUSA, but seem to be available in the Japanese market. Japanexposures.com offers it, and I priced a box of B&W Acros, it came to about $125-130 US plus shipping!!

I just picked up 100 sheets (5 boxes) of Fujifilm RDPIII 100F 4x5 Quickload Provia for 167.00.

So I have the Super Speed Graphic, the 8x loupe (picked up a Schneider 8X magnifier loupe for 49.00 on the auction site), the quickloads. Now just need the Tripod. Than I'll be off to the races... :D

Fulfill my dream of shooting LF !
