The following was picked up from an exchange on another forum:

Comment: "I'm concerned about this lens because I've read that it has barrel distortion."

Reply: "Then don't shoot pictures of barrels."

While we're talking about funny quote, I also find Bob Atkin's comment here rather amusing. Read his second post on the thread. :)

I just have something like this with a computer user. She is not interested in reading the Windows 2000 login screen and entereing a case sensitive username and password is only for computer experts while she is PR Consultant.

Was in this place some months ago, they're so kind to fill these 'porrons' with the barrels content so you can avoid being distorted by directly drinking from them...

of course you can wander freely around the place tasting all the wine before deciding, sometimes a single test is not enough to decide :)

aren't they... hic!... nice ?

Three years ago I seriously planned an alcoholic holiday consisting of visiting the wineries along the Duero/Douro river. Meaning in Spain and in Portugal too. Could not do it yet, although i have already folks who would join me. But once...!

In the '80s I hiked in scotia. Two weeks a year from destillery to destillery.

The highlands are great for hiking and I like haggys, too :)

Pherdi, this is Alella, around 20kms from Barcelona, known for their wines, I particulary liked their reds with a slightly sweet touch.

Just let me know when you do that wine holiday :)

I just have to contribute a funny quote. I recently saw a photo of a celebrity at some local event on photo.net. The guy who took the photo with a digital camera actually said the following in his description:

“I got 300 shots and 50 came out perfect like this one.”
