R-D1 and color rendition

Received my Zeiss Biogon 2/35 ZM. Wow! My cam can see purple (my beloved D100 don't, showed blue)!

I see a bit of red cast i your pic but the sky is not blue on my Apple Studio Display.
Do you mean you see it blue yourself?

- sorry for my poor english, but I mean, that my R-D1 can recognize purple colors (as opposed to my Nikon D100)
- the "sky" of my background pic is purple
- when I took the same shot of my iMac with my D100, it showed the "sky" almoust blue

Your English is much better than my German to say the least...
I'm using a D70 myself and i reduce the red saturation generally but i haven't got any problem with blue or magenta so far.
I don't know if it's related but did you try do disable the Nikon profile in your pic files?
