R-D1 and J-3 and girlfriend and cat and good timing

Now that is a beautiful photo and demonstrates the wonderful qualities of the R-D1 files that I keep talking about.

Love that shot ...

surprisingly good latitude/dynamics from that RD-1

J3 is 50mm isn't it?

Not surprising at all if you know the R-D1. I keep writing about the under appreciated image qualities of the R-D1. To me it is really extraordinary.

Nice-lookin' girlfriend, nice-lookin' cat, nice-lookin' fenestration, excellent technical quality and timing = terrific shot. You and the GF should have this one printed up on note cards -- I'll bet all your friends would love it.

We keep telling people that there's something special about the R-D 1, especially the way it translates the interesting qualities of older lenses into the digital realm... this is one of the images that shows that clearly.

i heartily agree on all of the above, thank you.
