All my digital cameras (several Canon DSLR's and now my new Epson) seem to underexpose by about 1/3 of a stop. Perhaps it's a safe margin, perhaps I just like a somewhat brighter image. Thanks to its metering pattern, the Epson seems to be most predictable of my cameras and there is much less need to think about the correct exposure yourself. It's almost making me lazy.Does the R-D1 seem to underexpose by about 1EV, in your experience, when you shoot RAW in AE mode?
Anyway, a new Epson user here. Hi, everyone!

Hi, Wallo! Yeah, I believe the R-D1 meters to the bottom left, like the Bessas.

I have had 5 RD-1 cameras. All have consistently underexposed by almost a full stop.
