Hi Everyone,
this is my first post in this forum, I shoot digital with SLR (Sigma SD14) and film+scan with RF (Bessa R3A). I have been looking closely at the R-D1 to go digital in my rangefinder world but have not been able to find any raw sample files that I can play with in order to get a feeling of the real image quality on the camera. Can anybody point me to a place where there are some raw files to download and process? I am on a Mac platform and have Iridient RAWDeveloper which supports Epson raw.
Many thanks for any help.
Regards,
Roberto

I tested the download. The file is converted to TIF by Windows OS and IE7. If the file is intact, perhaps you can just change the file extension back to ERF, but I think it's going to have to be sent as an email attachment, or burned to CD and mailed in a CD mailer via post.

Hi kuzano,
I have tried your link and have been able to download and open the raw file. So the linking to Tinyurl from you work fine for me. If you have some Hi iso sample I would be very grateful.
Many thanks and kindest regards.

Sorry LCT, I meant to thank you.... your link worked for me great.
I am looking at the file. If you have any higher ISO shot I would appreciate it.
Thank you!

Plse remove the .html extension after download if any.
For color works, 1600 ERF files are too noisy with Iridient and Epson converters IMHO.
My favourite raw converter as far as noise is Capture One 4.
