R-D1 with reral filters

I tested my R-D1 with a 2-stop red filter,
left it at AE and the pictures came out
very flat, little or no contrast. I then tested
it on my other digital m, and it came out alright.

any one using red or orange filter on the r-d1 ?

here are jpgs from both cameras,
the one without contrast is straight from the epson r-d1
while the other is from the m9.
i used a deep red filter.

the light meter is probably less sensitive to red light
simple solution, bump your AE up by 2 stops with a 2stop red filter on.

When you use filters, do you still use the Raw file or jpeg?
