Well,
A few weeks ago I asked here about the epson r d1s for a business trip to China instead of the heavy canon stuff and got the advise to get the thing
I had to think it over and indeed I bought an epson r d1s with an ultron 35 1.7.
Because the learning-time with the Epson was to short (only a week before leaving for china) and I thought that mine China-trip was perhaps an once in a lifetime event, so I got the Canon stuff with me (5d, 24-105, 12-24 and 200 2.8) all in an Slingshot pro 200. I used both camera's, sometimes together and sometimes I had only the epson with me.
I must say that when I had only the epson with me it was a joy to use, very light. Here are some pictures:
I'll hope this will work, couldn't find out how to post the pictures. If I'm posting the wrong way let me know.
It isn't art, they are the first time pictures I took with a rangefinder (earlier I used a contax g2, but doesn't consider that as a rangefinder) but I'm very glad with it.
Now I'm going to practice more and thinking of other lenses (perhaps a 50 or 75).

Well-known
those are great! Well done - I've been looking at a few books on photography in China recently - these are really nice - the delivery guy's a classic!

Thanks for your comments!
I realy liked the wat to handle to r d1s and later when I convert the images to black and white I liked the results even more. It's almost like I discovered a new way to photograph to me.
Well, more learning to do with the epson.
