Over on the dpreview site they mention that the R-D1s has a self timer.

On the Epson-RD1 UK site, under "Data & Facts" it says:
Shutter times 1 – 1/2,000 seconds, bulb
Aperture settings Timed automatic and manual modes
I believe that they typo'd and meant "shutter settings" as automatic aperture settings on a manual camera is difficult at best 🙂
Anyhow, all of these sites elude to the fact that there is a self timer built into the R-D1s that did not exist on the R-D1. Does anyone know how to access this via the menu system? I'd love to be able to take family portraits by mounting this on a tripod and running back into the scene..
