R2 frame lines (i am new to rf)

Hi,

I have a fuji x e1 which i use with a nokton 40 f1.4.
I would like to use the same lens on a film Rf like a R2.

I know the r2 doesn't have the correct framelines for such optic (i read several posts about it) but anyway it costs much less than a R3M (almost half price).

My question is... Will i have problems to get an accurate focus if u use the nokton 40 with the R2? (Maybe is a stupid question but I am more accustomed to the Slr world).

The frame lines dimension influence the focusing?

Focus willl not be an issue since its independent of the projected framelines. The 35 framelines will give you an approximate idea about framing with the 40.
