Dear all,
As many new users, I had been reading through posts and following what goes on on the RFF for a few months before taking the plunge into rangefinder photography (2 months ago) and signed up to become a member (today!).
I have used a Bessa R with 35 mm --borrowed from a friend-- for two or three rolls and that was a very convincing experience, so I bought myself a Bessa R2A from cameraquest (with the 35/2.5). A cool little camera... until yesterday when the film got stuck after the last exposure and it wouldn't let me rewind it. I was busy shooting and just noticed the film got its 36th exposure because the lever stuck (up 'til there, everything normal). But when I wanted to push the button on the bottom plate to release the film to be able to rewind it, it wouldn't let me. The little button just stood firm and didn't budge.
Have any of you experienced this before, or anyone could tip me on what to do? Even if I would just open the camera in my darkroom with the film un-rewinded it is not an ideal situation.
Many thanks for your feedback!
PS: Just attached these images to... well, try-out the feature and share some pics that were on my very first "rangefinder-roll" (taken with the R).
