R2A shutter issues?

What's this I'm hearing about shutter issues? Would it be wiser to save up the cash and get an M instead, or perhaps a ZI?

M's have shutter issues, too. I put a lot of film through an R2A, but never had a problem. What are they supposed to be doing?
