I've bought the R2M as soon as CameraQuest had them in stock. Now about every three rolls of film I'm noticing that once on the roll is overlaps images on the film. In other words, it doesn't wind properly for that one next exposure.

Anyone else see this yet?

ONE MORE TIME and I'll send it back under warranty for repair.

You paid good money for a new item. It should work properly. Send it back now.

I had unevenly spaced gaps between frames on my R2. It was bothering me so I sent it to Stephen under warranty. I was told it was okay, and was sent a test strip. You can do this too. Take a new roll of film. Run it through without a lens. Use a pen to (carefully!) outline each frame. I seem to have less of an issue with this if I wind on fully. My advance lever wants to stop just shy of the end of its throw. If I press it fully to the end, I seem to get more consistent gaps between frames. Overlapping is something else; if you are losing the ends of overlapped frames, I think you should definitely send it in.

I bet moon landings aren't covered in the warranty.
I've never seen a camera warranty that explicitly excluded a moon landing.. 😛 So, I guess that there's more to frame space technology than we can imagine 😀

'eandl.co.uk' offer a Lunar Monthly Policy for Photographic Gear - I thought it sounded like a rather niche market that they were targeting until I read the small print - the lunar bit only relates to the way they collect the payments each 28 days. They actually offer no moon cover at all. Ridiculous.

I have seen it only when i tried a dbl exposure by pushing in the rewind button on the bottom. while it was never an issue on my nikons, it seems to be with my bessas.
