How long do the batteries last in an R3A used almost every day?

I have a chance to buy a pack of ten LR44's (actually AG13's but I think they're the same) at a good price but I don't know if I'll need them anytime soon.

After I bought my R3A I used it for about a dozen rolls in a three month period and needed a battery replacement.

I must be about the same place as you were. I reckon I'm about three months and a dozen films too.

Actually I went ahead and bought a card of ten batteries already. Eight in my desk drawer and two tucked in my camera pouch.

Although the price had gone up: I thought they were €0.75 each but they were €1.00 each. Still good value.

There must be something to the 12 roll life. Although I don't use my R2A everyday, I replaced the original batts after 12, too. Strangely coincidental.

I'm guessing that I get at least 15 rolls of film per pair of batteries, maybe more.
