I just bought used R3A and noticed that focus point is out of center.
Little to the left and top. I can see frame lines right where they suppose to be. I don't have any lens attached to the camera (did not arrive jet) but I guess it doesn't matter. I was going thru threads and looks like alignment of all sorts is a common problem with R3A and R2A. I wonder if there is some way to correct this.
Camera is not under warranty so I can try to do it myself.
Thanks for any advice.

Unlike the R and R2 the focus point on the R2A and R3A remains central whilst the framelines move in order to correct for parallax errors. i.e. The viewfinder will correct for the fact it doesn't see what the lens can see due to the slightly different viewpoint.

With no lens on the camera, the rangefinder mechanism will default to the camera's minimum focussing distance, so the framelines will be well offset. You'll find that everything is central when a lens is focussed to infinity.

Don't know why Cosina designed the RA cameras this way, central within the frame would make more sense (and they managed it with the R and R2). However, you'll probably find that your point of focus is very rarely in the centre of the frame anyway... So it doesn't matter... You'll find yourself focussing and re-framing either way.
