R3A frameline ghosting

My 90mm framelines on my R3A are showing a bit of ghosting but only for the corners on the left side. When looking directly through the viewfinder so that the RF patch is the brightest/clearest, the left corner lines on the 90mm frame are ghosted just once. As in, I see duplicate corner lines on the left only and they are offset enough that it does affect the framing if I use the wrong ones. I also notice this on the left for the other frames but those are harder to reproduce than the 90mm frame which exhibits this pretty much all the time. Is this normal? I can get the ghosting to go away for the 90mm lines by looking into the viewfinder askew but at that point the RF path has already disappeared so thats not so useful.

Try as I might, I can't get the 90s on mine to do that, but the 40mm line on the left does appear just like the one you drew, with the bent side reflection. I wonder if there's some kind of black baffle that should be there or a painted/flocked surface..
