R3A viewfinder glass RTFM question...

I just got my R3A and the owner's manual is at home.

I'm curious: Are the viewfinder windows, front and back made of glass? It appears they are coated, regardless of plastic/glass.

I have a tendency to get my fingers on the front VF window and am wanting to use lens cleaner on the eyepiece and VF window.

Is it real glass? Can the coating easily be damaged?

Yes, they are made of glass and coated. Actually cosina coats every surface of the glasses in the RF
