The point was it was not broken beyond a cheap repair cost. And Taiwan handwork is cheaper cost wise not quality wise.

you got it fix, that's really great not question about that. Just if I would have one of those camera, and it fell off in a trip or a shoot/work, then I would feel firstly useless without a camera, then I'll have to make it repaired for twice what you paid (I suppose, and that is a lot compared to the real cost of this camera). Not a lot of camera would work after a fall, and I don't even know if it would be worthwhile to design a fall proof one! Buy the camera strap everyone deserves!
