One of my primary reasons for having R3's (1 black R3M and a green R3A) is for the 75mm focal length! On the ZM you get only the 50 frame with the 75f2 or 75f1.4, on the M6/MP you get a cluttered view with the 50/75 frames combined! On the R3 you get a splendid single frame for the 75! Enough justification for me. I use it frequently with the 75f1.4 and though the rangefinder base is a bit short, if you are careful there is no poblem with it, even wide-open and at close focus. As a matter of fact, it works better than on my 0.72 M6/M4P's.
