Will bear that in mind. My hand isn't quite ready to pick up the phone, but I susepct it will do very soon.

I tend to fret for quite a while before buying. And I've been fretting about the Bessa for quite some time now. I don't buy on impulse, I like to be sure I'm gonna use and get good use out of any gear I buy.

I'll maybe buy a small Crumpler bag or something for the Bessa, and umm I do seem to collect camera bags anyway.

Will try Ffordes first, as their price on the lens is much keener, but if long delivery (4 weeks, oh dear) I'll go to Robert White.

I hate the crumpler web site. It's hellish.
But their bags are very good and great value too. And they have some excellant camera bags, that well don't look like camera bags. I'm also tempted by their big ruck sack bag, which is very well thought out, and could be ideal for those carry everything days.
Just please don't tell me they are made with slave labour. I hope not.

Gareth ffordes only ever show the stock they have, once bought it's delivered next day. I've bought several things unseen from them, the most recent being a Leica CL and I've never had anything bad from them. Their service is second to none I would say. You could maybe try Quiggs in Glasgow (Parnie St) for a look at randgefinders or Camerabase in Edinburgh.

Popped by on my way back doon the road from Berneray yesterday. Had a look at a Bessa R2a + 35mm Ultron, and bought em.

They seem a reasonable shop, and I get the impression they will give service. Was hard going getting a discount or any freebies though. Eventually managed to get a nice wee secondhand bag thrown in!

Now just to find the time to shoot a few rolls.
