I have a little question about the calibration of a rangefinder.
I have a FED and i have found the two screw for horizontal and vertical calibration.
I set the camera to infinity and with the screw i have some a perfect calibration.
Now the problem is simple, on the object (a jupiter) i have a meter scale, but i have see that for example i set 2 meter, there is a discrepance with the real distance.
Example:
- i focus a flower, rangefinder focus ok
- with a meter i see that the distance is 2 meter
- the scale on the jupiter indicate 1,5 meter
I riso that my photo are not perfectly focused or there is online a discrepance that non cause problem? Is only importante that rangefinder is correctly calybrated?
Thanks
