rangefinder film camera stores in london

Bessa R3a + Nokton for 325 pounds sounds damn great. For that price you are nearly getting the body for free ;)

You always can keep the lens if you like it (I find the 1.4 Noktons are really nice), sell the body and upgrade to a Leica later.

Go for it!

EDIT: the body alone is propably worth something like 250-300 pounds in nice condition. My suggestion: buy the Bessa, use it and just keep your eyes open for a Leica body... if you find a good deal, sell the bessa, buy the Leica, keep the lens and use it on the Leica

didnt realise i should have placed thread in travel.

@filzkoeter thats what i was thinking. i would prob sell the whole thing as ideally im wanting a 35mm lens but as a test the water well cant go wrong. put 2-3 rolls of film in and take it from there. the veiw finder will be different r3a 1:1 where as m2 i think is 0.72 as well as m6( i know the m6 has more options).

this forum has so much info.

If you're ever looking for anything film-related, I would add my name to those who have already recommended Aperture in London. I've done business with them for many years and they are, in my opinion, as knowledgeable as anyone, very fair when buying or trading and have a great service if anything you have needs repair / servicing. The shop on Museum Street also has a great little cafe and recently opened a galelry space to rent in the basement.

thanks paul. i actually spoke to them before i went to look at the bessa and gave me some great advise. the search continues
