Yikes! I'm doing my taxes and totalled up all my expenses.

#2 was photography equipment. There's a noticeable spike between September and December after I found this forum. I wonder if I can deduct it.. I made $150 in two paid gigs 😀

:bang:

How'd ya'll do in camera euqipment/supplies spending 2005? Maybe not a safe question to ask, I see a lot of spenders here more than me 😛

Jano,
I'm afraid GAS isn't limited to RF's. I contacted a watch repairman from a link Bill Mattock included on another thread (thank you Bill) and he mentioned he had just purchased his 372nd pocket watch from eBay...(which is 371 more than I own).

I've never tracked my camera expenditures (although I've seen some frightening 30 day totals on my eBay page); I think denial is a better path in this case 🙂.

Good thing my better half thinks I am better off with cameras than boose or gambling. Eventually you get everything you want and move on to something else like tools or cars or stereo.

My only advice is buy good equipment and don`t replace it for better stuff. You will be better off in the long run.
