Rangefinder Magazine

I got my first issue about a week ago, haven't read it completely yet. I knew it wasn't about rangefinders. It's a long-established publication that was never just about rangefinder cameras or photography. But has good content overall, certainly seems better than the popular mags.

It's pretty much a trade magazine for pro photographers. I have found the RfCookbook articles to be the most useful for me. And hey, the price is right 😀

Got mine last week, too. After placing my order last August. 🙁

Not about RF's, but at least this was a Black and White Special issue.

Got my first copy in the mail today. Hay it's not a magazine about Rangefinders.Intresting stuff and photos in it. But hay the title.

Hey, why you say "hay"?

Oh, what the heck! 😀

The best things about the magazine are the title and the price. The British B+W magazine is the best, I think, though I don't know about lenswork.

Worst book with the best title: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

Interesting thing about the "black and white" issue, the cover shot is PS sepia-toned Provia. It doesn't look remotely black and white.

I got my first copy yesterday - I was wondering when it was going to show up--- seeing as how I'd been a member of another site that was "giving away" a free one year subscription with site membership.

I got mine this week as well, having signed up when everyone else did back in August.

For those that haven't opened it yet, beware! It contains an EOS Digital marketing thing that's bigger than the magazine. I had a dream the other night about running around with two 1D IIs or something. Very scary stuff.

Luckily my M3 returned from a service this morning and cured any lingering DSLR related symptoms. A lucky escape through serendipitous timing.
