rangefinder patch "cut off"

I recently purchased a Bessa R3M and noticed that the lower right corner of the rangefinder patch isn't at right angles--it's as if a pair of scissors had cut off that corner. I also have an R3A and the patch appears normal. Can someone please let me know what seems to be the problem? Should I be worried?

Could be a number of things, but I would guess that the mirror is slightly out of position or the rangefinder window mask has a tiny obstruction or is slightly out of position or isn't rectangular.

As long as the rangefinder is in calibration, I wouldn't worry about it.
