I downloaded the D-Lux RAW upgrades for Lightroom 4 and Aperture 3. When I try to open the box, they both say they are not supported by my computer. Am I just out of luck? I think I would have to upgrade to a new OS, and I am pretty sure I don't want to.

So I'm thinking, maybe get rid of the D-Lux 6. I don't think I want to be limited to JPEGS. Maybe I'd rather have my X100 back.

Any thoughts?

I did a little web surfing, and the adobe site says the upgrade should work with OS10.6.8 (which is what I have) or higher. Yet I get this message saying the RAW upgrade is not supported by my system. What can possibly be going on there?

My guess is u may need to run an upgrade sw check from the pull down menu (top left corner icon). The camera raw support for Mac is based on common files to be used for iPhoto and Aperture. The camera raw fles maybe different for the new os is my only guess right now.

The LR is a bit surprising, since those updates are not part of Mac.

Try update sw path in Mac first. Then open LR and do a sw update chi there.

Good luck

Not really finding anything that way, unless I need a "Java upgrade." I disabled Javascript when the big scare came out. Could that be the problem?

I would not think Java would cause this type of issue.. Camera raw is just used by the peific photo sw. When they open an image file by type, they go out to check first if they have info to handle it (camera image conversion library info). Java normally has nothing to do w/ this.

Thanks, Gary. I can cross that off the list. Funny it won't work when it claims to be compatible with OS 10.6.8, though.
