RC35 loose lens barrel common ?

Has anyone else had the lens barrel coming loose & only held on by two colored circuit wires ? I couldnt see a way of re-attaching it. This is the second model this has happened to now.

Something has blocked the iris shutter also so it's in for a repair with a retired repairman who will charge $60 total. The auto aperture is a little sticky & works nearly OK with a new battery.

The flash setting lever also became loose. The body is such a fine, chunky piece of Japanese workmanship I can't dump it.

Can't wait for its return to run a roll of film through !

I've heard that this can happen although my 3 seem OK (cross fingers)
I haven't looked but thought 'things' were held on by 2 screws. Originally these had 'loctite' on them but once undone tended to loosen in use. Perhaps I'm confusing things with the Trip?
Your $60 doesn't look unreasonable if its a job well done.
