I equate the RF camera to a stick shift in a car. There are those who prefer automatic transmission but I love my sticks.

Sometime (when the overdraft bites especially hard) I toy with the idea of selling one system or the other - some days it's the R-D1, others it's the 5D.
Trouble is, the more I think about it, the more I realise that I get a completely different experience from each of them, and I like both.
The RF is something you look through - you have to engage with the subject. It's a visceral experience for me.
The DSLR is something you look AT - the screen - so it becomes more intellectual/aethetic. I think about the images more with the 5D, and shoot more by instinct with the R-D1.
Seems to me you can't get both in one package <sigh> (does that sound like marriage?)
