Hi,

Does anyone know how to correct Rd-1 framelines? I've had mine for a couple of years, had the top off to cure focusing difficulties (thanks Rich Cutler), but I've yet to find any help with this.

Best,

Charlie

Mine are like that, too (looking through the finder, about 5 degrees clockwise cockeyed). According to Rich, there's no fix, but if someone has a strategy I'd be glad to take off my top and try it. I often forget to compensate, especially with a vertical shot.

Hi again,

It is definitely the framelines. The patch is optically coupled to the viewer geometry and it is straight with regard to the chip (altering it to line up with the frames makes this quite clear!). Just how far off the lines are is all the more obvious with the top deck off the camera.

Best,

Charlie
